Modify/Cancel Order
I prioritize quick processing of every order so it ships on time. Plans change, though — and if you need to modify or cancel an order, I'll do my best to help. Here's exactly how it works.
WITHIN 24 HOURS OF YOUR ORDER
Email me within 24 hours of placing the order if you need to:
- Change the shipping address
- Swap the item for a different one
- Adjust the quantity
- Cancel the order entirely
I'll do all of the above at no cost as long as the order hasn't been processed and handed to the carrier yet. Send your request to support@shanawood.com with your order number and what you'd like to change. I reply within 1–2 business days.
AFTER THE 24-HOUR WINDOW
After 24 hours, the order may already be processed and on its way from our U.S.-based fulfillment partner, which makes mid-flight changes hard. That's not the end of your options, though.
If the item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, email me within 48 hours of delivery with photos and I'll make it right with a replacement or full refund — return shipping on me. I'm not able to accept returns for change of mind or preference, and custom or final-sale items are non-returnable. Full details are in my Return & Refund Policy.
So practically: contact me anyway, even after 24 hours — sometimes the package can still be intercepted before it leaves our partner's warehouse.
ADDRESS ACCURACY
Please double-check your shipping address before placing the order. I'm not responsible for delays or lost packages caused by an incorrect or incomplete address. If a package is returned to me because the address was wrong, I'll reach out and re-ship it to the correct address; I cover the re-ship cost the first time.
WHAT I CAN'T CHANGE
A few things are outside my control once the order is placed:
- Custom or made-to-order items (these are non-returnable)
- Items marked "Final Sale"
- Orders already in transit (I can request the carrier hold the package, but I can't guarantee they will)
